Macy Burton

Macy comes to us from the medical field originally, but she has been working in real estate for longer than even she realized. Macy has practiced full-time as a registered nurse since 2009, specializing in emergency care and education. On her off days, Macy started doing home renovations, completing her first home flip in 2013. Since that first flip, Macy has completed eight personal real estate transactions, including a lot development and the owning and management of five, soon to be 6, short-term vacation rentals.
 
Last year, it became clear Macy had a real interest in real estate on the Central Coast, and it was only natural for her to spend more time pursuing this passion and hang up her nursing cap. Macy admits she does miss her career and her colleagues from her time as a nurse, but she feels many of the skills she has learned in her profession she has taken with her.
 
In nursing, the most important skill you can have is the ability to advocate for your patient. Your job is to protect them, educate them, and keep them safe. The same goes for real estate; ultimately, we are advocating for our clients, we educate, protect, and keep them safe during their transaction. We are so glad to have Macy join our team!
